Drake Fans Think Boi-1da is Hinting at New Kendrick Lamar Diss Track

Drake fans are buzzing with speculation that another Kendrick Lamar diss track might be coming, thanks to hints from his longtime producer, Boi-1da.

On Tuesday (May 28), Boi-1da caused a stir when he tweeted, “Tap, tap tap tap,” and posted a photo on Instagram Stories showing Drake whispering in his ear. This led fans to believe that new music, possibly a diss track, is on the way.

One fan commented, “Drake coming with more fire. Confirmed,” while another asked, “Round 2??” Another excitedly said, “Something is up when Boi-1da is tweeting [flushed face emoji].”

Some fans thought Boi-1da might be involved with Eminem’s new single “Houdini” or NAV’s upcoming album On My Way 2 Rexdale, which both release soon.

However, Boi-1da seemed to dismiss the rumors by commenting on an Instagram post from Akademiks, saying, “Guys LOL cmon man.”

Drake was thought to have bowed out of his battle with Kendrick Lamar following the release of “The Heart Part 6” earlier this month.

After Kendrick’s song “Not Like Us” became the most popular track in the feud, Drake posted an illustration of a Japanese samurai facing off against a huge cavalry. This was a nod to the “20 vs. 1” narrative he mentioned in his earlier diss track “Push Ups.” Above the picture, he wrote: “Good times. Summer vibes up next,” signaling that he was moving past the beef and looking forward to a new album.

On “The Heart Part 6,” which received negative feedback from many fans and critics, Drake addressed and denied Kendrick’s accusations of pedophilia:

“I never been with no one underage, but now I understand why this the angle that you really mess with / Just for clarity, I feel disgusted / I’m too respected / If I was fuckin’ young girls, I promise I done been arrested,” he rapped.

Despite the drama, it seems Drake is ready to leave the feud behind and focus on his future projects.
